Brands like that have been selling shoes like this since before the common sheep founders left their daddy's testicles. I'll tell you what pisses me off. dumb fads. New Republic is absolute trash quality. That's a $30 shoe being sold for $80 to sheep that don't know better. Terrible value and very low quality item. Quite sad when you can just spend a little bit more and get something that is actually high quality. The onism looked interesting. Never heard of this brand, I suspect it's another "trendy" fad brand that isn't very old and has their shoes made by one of the many production centers in the region. Basically a social media scheme not a real shoe company. Portugal and Spain have a long history of making leather shoes and the cost of labor is lower than Italy or France with high quality. Many worthwhile brands from Spain and Portugal. The English shoes were very interesting as well. To my eyes they looked like a real top quality item.

I've been buying Gustin for 10 years, not always successful with the fit but I've persisted for the quality of denim. Their pattern options are limited, as another commenter stated. The tapered skinny leg is great but the rise is short, if you are after that low-slung hipster a 60s style Rock look, this is it. The Slim fit is the better waist option but the leg is not tapered enough for me. They need to add another pattern. Not willing to try their shoes or leather jackets. The waxed jackets might be worth a try. I did buy the waxed canvas bag which is a really sturdy bag. Didn't like the wool socks because they shrunk and went out of shape in one season. The Tees are pretty good but again because of materials the fit can vary. Because of the model, it's a long wait to see if something is a good fit or not so it has taken me years to get my jean sizing close. Plus over 5 years, I put on weight and went up two sizes. There a more options these days straight off the rack but in Australia in 2010 when Gustin started, they were the closest I could get to RAW denim shipped here at a reasonable price. I have ended up with 2/3 pairs of Jeans I will have for life.

I have the brown bourbons and the only complaint I have is they scratch soooooo easily. Even with that though they are still worth the cost.

I bough this when it was initially launch. This product sucks. It pokes you and takes too much time to do. You’re better of learning how to sew the shirt and not worry about it. Then you have knowledge on how to do this to all shirts and not have to redo a process.

All that rubber and glue just does not equate to anything but Temporary and toss in the garbage So essentially, they are garbage from the get-go. when you wear quality loafers on your feet, you generally tend to not go back to sneakers if you came from that world. It is like getting a masters degree and then going back to high school or a high school mentality. It is like going from a Bentley to a Hyundai by choice. You literally feel like you have trash on your feet once you’ve worn good quality real shoes And then try to put sneakers back on. The luxury And comfort of real shoes is literally magical.

Great vid, personally I’d rather be able to buy 2-3 well made loafers than one pair of “name brand” shoes to impress strangers…had never heard of many of these brands so thanks for that…as soon as the starter loafers I purchased at the mall recently start to show their age, I will be looking into a few of those $300-500 well made brands without the conspicuous branding…summer loafers are new to me so looking for ideas on how to style, will be checking your vids for ideas…thx!

Completely disagree. I have found Uniqlo chinos to be complete trash. First of all, the sizing is just flat wrong. They are larger than the actual size. Second, you can tell they are trash just by looking at the cheap plastic zipper. Don't even make me go into other details like stitching that falls apart.

Okay when you live in latinAmerica a 50 dollars pair is one you do take care off. From 50- 200 which is my range in my mini collection i treat them with care.
